L.I.N.K Diagnostic Assessment

Coffee and Plans

Why Isn’t Your Marketing Generating Pipeline?

Most B2B campaigns don’t fail because of platforms.

They fail because of structural gaps in positioning, targeting, and execution.

This assessment helps you identify where your marketing is breaking, and what to fix first.

What This Assessment Is

This is a structured self-assessment designed for Chinese companies expanding into overseas markets.

It evaluates your marketing across five key areas:

  • Positioning and messaging

  • Audience targeting and intent

  • Funnel and content alignment

  • Platform and channel usage

  • Execution and optimisation

The goal is not to review activity, but to identify structural gaps that limit performance.

Why Complete This Assessment

Most companies focus on doing more.
More ads, more channels, more content.

However, without the right structure:

  • Traffic does not convert

  • Leads are low quality

  • Campaign performance is inconsistent

This assessment helps you:

  • Identify where your marketing is misaligned

  • Understand why current efforts are not converting

  • Prioritise what to fix before increasing budget

  • Gain a clearer direction for improvement

How the Scoring Works

Each question in this assessment is designed to evaluate a specific part of your marketing structure.

You will be asked to select one of three options:

  • Yes — this is clearly in place (2 points)

  • Partially — this exists but is inconsistent or unclear (1 point)

  • No — this is not in place (0 points)

Your total score reflects how well your marketing is aligned across five key areas:

  • Positioning and messaging

  • Audience targeting and intent

  • Funnel and content structure

  • Platform and channel usage

  • Execution and optimisation

What Your Score Will Mean

This assessment does not measure how much marketing activity you have.

It evaluates whether your marketing is structured in a way that can generate consistent and scalable results.

A higher score indicates stronger alignment across your marketing system.
A lower score indicates structural gaps that may be limiting performance.

Your results will be analysed and the scoring system will be provided.

What This Section Evaluates

This section assesses whether your company is clearly understood by overseas buyers.

Many Chinese companies describe what they do internally, but not in a way that international customers immediately understand. If positioning is unclear, all marketing activity amplifies confusion.
